Frontier Touring, Soapbox Events & Mellen Events are thrilled to announce the return of Ministry of Sound Orchestrated following their hugely successful show earlier this year.

This December, Kings Park will come alive with ‘The Strings of Life Tour’ which will once again be joined by Perth Symphony Orchestra, Groove Terminator on the decks and vocalist Alison Limerick, plus see new vocalists Sam Sparro and Crystal Waters.

In what will be a nostalgic throwback to some of the greatest party and house anthems of all time, Orchestrated is sure to generate some serious foot movement bringing friends together to relive the heady days of clubbing in a true celebration of dance music.

Event & Venue Information

WE PLAY RAIN OR SHINE
If it looks like rain please bring wet weather protection (ponchos & raincoats). Umbrellas are not permitted into the venue.

TICKETS
All tickets available through Ticketmaster.com.au and 136 100. This is a licensed event. All patrons, including minors & babies, must have a valid ticket for entry. Please note that Companion Cards can only be used when purchasing General Admission tickets.

MINORS
All patrons, including minors & babies, must have a valid ticket for entry.

Please refer to our Babes in Arms Policy.

All minors under 18 years of age who have purchased a ticket will only be permitted into the concert site if they are accompanied by their parent/ step-parent or legal guardian. If a minor is NOT ACCOMPANIED by their parent/ step-parent or legal guardian they will be refused entry to the concert and they will not receive a refund on their ticket.

SET TIMES & LINE-UP
Occasionally changes to the line-up and / or program times occur that are out of the Promoters control. The Promoter reserves the right to change the line-up and/ or program times without prior notification.

WHAT TO BRING
Picnic rug and hamper, jacket, sun hat, sunscreen, sealed plastic bottled water/soft drink (only), comfy shoes and good vibes. (Seating – see below)

SEATING
No seating is supplied and seating can only be brought into the General Admission Grass area as the General Admission Deck will be standing room only to allow for dancing. General Admission Grass ticket holders can bring own picnic rug or seat if desired - low back (beach) chairs are recommended. High back (deck/ camping) chairs will be positioned at the rear of the venue. A seating area is provided for those with wheelchair requirements.

My General Admission tickets say "GENADM" but have  row and seat number on them - what does this mean?
This is for ticket tracking purposes only. This information does not mean you have a reserved seat for the event.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
There are a range of public transport options connecting you to Kings Park & Botanic Garden. Please refer to the Transperth Journey Planner to plan your journey.

BUS SHUTTLE SERVICE:  Shuttle buses run along Lovekin Drive & May Drive from 4pm - 7pm, picking up patrons at the lighting towers and delivering to main gate (Gate 1). Please note this is a ONE WAY SERVICE ONLY, helping inbound patrons to enter the show. There are no return shuttle services. We kindly ask for a gold coin donation for this service – all proceeds go to Ronald McDonald House Perth.

FOOD
A wide range of food options to suit all tastes and budgets will be available for purchase at the venue. Visit jdsfastfoods.com.au to view food vendors in attendance, menus and to pre-order hampers. Patrons can also visit ticketmaster.com.au to pre-order hampers. Alternatively patrons may bring their own food/ picnic. Please be aware of prohibited items listed under “Not Permitted”.

NOT PERMITTED
Strictly NO BYO alcohol and NO glass items. This is a fully licensed event. No tables or umbrellas, professional SLR cameras, video or recording equipment, metal cutlery, wine spikes, bean bags, tents or sun shelters. The Botanic Garden is a smoke free venue.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
All bags are subject to a safety and security search upon entry. No Pass Outs.

PARKING
Available along Lovekin, Forrest and May Drives. A drop off zone is located at the venue entrance on Lovekin Drive. ACROD Parking is located on Forrest Drive in close proximity to the DNA Tower. Access Forrest Drive via Park and Poole Avenue entrances, Crawley.

FAQs

DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A TICKET FOR MY BABY or CHILD?

​General Admission Grass ticket holders will need to bring a picnic blanket or rug with them to sit on (should you wish) or alternatively a beach chair or director/ camping chair. Please note that beach chairs (being low to the ground) will be positioned in the first half of the General Admission Grass area and director/ camping chairs (being higher off the ground) will be positioned in the second half of the General Admission Grass area.

I LOST SOME BELONGINGS AT A SHOW // LEFT BEHIND CLOAKED OR CONFISCATED ITEMS - WHAT DO I DO?
Please contact the Mellen Events office on (08) 9383 3534 or info@mellenevents.com in the days immediately after the show. If you cloaked items at the free cloakroom (or had a confiscated item cloaked), please let us know your Cloaking Ticket Number to better help us locate your item.

I PURCHASED A DRINK (ALCOHOLIC) AT THE VENUE & HAVEN'T FINISHED IT BY THE END OF THE SHOW. CAN I WALK OUT THE VENUE WITH IT?
No, the event area is a licensed venue and as such, no alcohol can be taken off the premises (just as you can't purchase a drink at a pub and walk out with it - it must be consumed within the licensed area). Please assist security by leaving any unfinished alcoholic beverages behind.

Sam Sparro

Grammy and ARIA Award nominated singer, songwriter and producer, Sam Sparro – the unique voice behind the multi-platinum single ‘Black and Gold’ – will be joining the tour as a guest vocalist. Sparro has collaborated with the likes of Mark Ronson, Kylie Minogue, Aluna George, Basement Jaxx, Nile Rodgers, Adam Lambert and Honey Dijon, amongst others and recently wrapped up a hugely successful national tour.

Crystal Waters Promo

Crystal Waters

Best known for 1991’s ‘Gypsy Woman (She’s Homeless)' and 1994’s ‘100% Pure Love’, Crystal Waters makes for an exciting addition to the line-up. Her accolades include three American Music Award nominations, an MTV Video Music Award nod, four Billboard Music Awards and six ASCAP Songwriter Awards.

Alison Limerick

Alison Limerick

Alison Limerick returns to Orchestrated following a standout performance earlier this year. Limerick released debut album And Still I Rise in March 1992, that same year she won Best Female Artist at the international DMC Awards and has continued to release a string of hit singles including ‘Time Of Our Lives’ and ‘Where Love Lives’, the latter of which went on to become a 90s phenomenon and global anthem. 

Limerick continues to record and sing live and can be found singing soul/jazz in various venues across Europe. Her latest collaboration, the track ‘Bye Bye’ with New York DJ Lenny Fontana includes the recent Phats & Small remix.
